Does Capper work in every app?
Capper supports native macOS text fields plus verified paths for Google Docs, Obsidian, and Notion desktop. If it cannot prove the editing target is safe, it declines instead of guessing.
Do I need a cloud account?
No. The one-time Capper License works with a model server you manage on your Mac. Cloud plans add Capper Cloud while keeping Local mode available.
What does Capper Cloud send?
Request content is limited to your instruction and captured text. Capper strips the application name, bundle identifier, and window title; it separately sends the license credential for authorization and a bounded app version for usage diagnostics.
Is there a free trial?
No. A license key is required from first launch. You can choose the one-time Local license or a monthly Cloud plan.
